IV International Meeting of Young Agricultural Workers. From 2nd ti 5th June.
By the initiative of the a group of young researchers of the Institute of Animal Science, it emerged the idea of making an Event for Young Scientists within the context of the World's Day of the Environment when free of any formality and enriched by the frankness and passion of youth a forum of discussion is created transcending our boundaries and permitting to integrate the work of young researchers from different national institutions and from other countries and who are working for the agricultural sector and are engaged with their peoples and with the legacy of the future generations.

Tropical Animal Production 2010
3rd International Congress of Tropical Animal Production. From November 15th to 19th.
The development of agricultural feed productions influenced by the effects of the climatic change, drought and desertification, hydrometeorologic phenomena and its economical, political, social and environmental sustainability constitute a great challenge to the agricultural branch. In the middle of an acute economical crisis and the globalization, the animal production systems and their feeding basis, among other factors, are threatened. The sovereignty and feeding security should be converted in strategies of first order, to guarantee the life of those that inhabit the planet, specially, in the tropical region.
